Leslie Roberts has been involved in radio and television journalism since he was 18. He has had a wide range of experiences in the media is currently the charismatic and trustworthy co host of CTV Morning Live. He often remarks that he absolutely loves his work and his colleagues. Roberts previously worked for Global in Toronto for 15 years as an anchor and executive editor and also worked in radio, various aspects of journalism, travel and talk shows throughout Canada and the US. He has been nominated for the Gemini Canadian Screen Awards two for Canada’s Best News Anchor.
He comes from a long line of journalists. His brother, Rob Roberts, is currently editor-in-chief at The National Post newspaper.
Leslie advocates for equality for all and acknowledges the impact of serious issues such as bullying and LBTBQ discrimination on young people. He is a wonderful role model and community supporter.
He is happily married and has a daughter. He spends his “off’ time enjoying time with his family and friends, and loves good food, reading, and music. He also enjoys workouts, mediation and some yoga.
